We are honored to announce that Project Agora, the Media Technology SaaS company of our Group, has been named one of Europe’s 1,000 fastest growing companies by the Financial Times. Their annual FT1000 list places Project Agora at position 325 across all European companies – and 11th in the advertising category.
The FT list, now in its 6th year, is produced in collaboration with research firm Statista. It compiles financial performance data from the preceding four years (2017-2020), and ranks companies based on their Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR).
This methodology provides insight into the longer-term viability of businesses. As the list shows, Project Agora’s CAGR between 2017-2020 was 80.26%. Revenue shot up from just over $3 million to nearly $20 million – and the team has more than quadrupled in size.
As the Financial Times note, the companies included in the list have shown great resilience in the face of unprecedented disruptions in the last two years. Project Agora is one of five companies in Greece included in the FT1000 – and one of only three based in Cyprus.
Project Agora’s ongoing growth demonstrates that their mission – to Keep the Open Web Open – resonates throughout the industry and meets the growing needs of local media owners, advertisers and the Open Web.
