International Charity Day: TDG donations for students in need

Giving back to schools with a “Back-to-school” drive 

At TDG, we supported International Charity Day 2021 by collaborating with “The Smile of the Child” (Hamogelo tou Paidiou) nationwide campaign in donating essential school supplies to families that are in need of help to make their year successful. 

Thanks to our “Back to School” program, we collected brand new school supplies including school bags, notebooks, pencils as well as ring binders, geometry instruments and scissors. All the items were distributed to The Smile of the Child Support Centers across Athens and Patras, and in turn, were successfully distributed to families.  

Thinkers from our Greek offices had the opportunity to meet in person the staff of the organization and learn more about their initiatives and activities, this included learning about their impact on society since 1995.  

“The Smile of the Child” is a voluntary non-profit organization that supports all the institutional aspects that would make an impact on children’s issues. The main mission of the organization is to defend the rights of children providing services to children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, working for physical, mental and spiritual stability and spiritual children’s power. 

A huge shoutout to every Thinker’s support, for their “Positive Bigfoot” spirit, their generosity and especially for contributing in making this educational year a success for students in need.
